Job Description

The Regency clinic, which is part of The Medical Group, is located in the heart of Cheltenham and has a team of Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists, Massage Therapists and a Podiatrist. The clinic itself is a beautifully restored Regency style building with large treatment rooms, extensive rehabilitation gym, Pilates studio and a diagnostic suite housing movement and strength analysis technology (as used by Manchester City FC). We pride ourselves on delivering a gold standard multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Our clinicians work together as a team to deliver the most appropriate evidence based, patient centred care which is overseen by our consultant practitioners. This has allowed us to build a sterling reputation within the health care and sporting community.

As a clinical team, we run regular learning sessions allowing us to keep up to date with the best evidence-based treatment approaches across all our disciplines. We place a huge emphasis on continued learning from each other and strive to improve our knowledge base and clinical skills.

About the position

We are looking for an enthusiastic chiropractor with at least 5 years of clinical experience, who values chiropractic as a key part of a multidisciplinary team approach to care and is wanting to take on a challenging but exciting role in helping us lead the industry in gold standard, patient centred care. We are looking for someone with a ‘Team player’ ethos and is always willing to learn from others as well as share knowledge and expertise. Ego’s need not apply.

The role of senior chiropractor involves having both a clinical and leadership position within the practice:
• Delivering initial consultations, Report of findings, progress examinations and chiropractic treatment to our patients.
• Work closely with the consultant practitioners and wider team in the construction and delivery of patient care plans
• Assisting the consultant practitioners in the delivery of multi-disciplinary case reviews
• Mentoring and coaching junior members of the chiropractic and care team
• Regular meeting with department heads to review current systems and procedures and identify areas of improvement – we continually striving for gold standard care.
• Partake in and periodically run team learning sessions.
• Be a positive, enthusiastic member of the team.

Role +Benefits
• Full time employed – 40 hours per week
• Starting base salary £50,000 per year, with the ability to increase generously on annual review

About our clinic Director: Dr Callum Forrest

Callum graduated from AECC Chiropractic University with a Masters of Chiropractic in 2011. From 2013 – 2020 he practised in Sydney, Australia which boasts a diverse and modern health care system. His functional, evidence-based approach to movement and injury prevention has allowed him, whilst practising overseas, to work with Paralympic and Olympic athletes, Australian Open Tennis Players, Professional Basketball Players, Rugby Union and Rugby League (NRL) Players, Soccer and CrossFit Athletes from all across New South Wales.

Whilst in Sydney Callum consulted for the largest provider of Chiropractic care in New South Wales where he was awarded ‘ Chiropractor of the Year’ on two separate occasions (2014 & 2017) and was one of only a few Chiropractors to deliver yearly talks to the GP’s, building strong working relationships with the wider medical community.

Since taking over as clinic director in 2021 Callum has driven excellence in our delivery of of gold-standard care creating a ‘Team player’ focused environment.
