Soft Tissue Therapist (Sports Massage)

We are looking for a passionate Soft Tissue Therapist (Sports Massage) to join our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include:
• * Massage therapy treating clients (principally office workers who lead active or sedentary lifestyles)
• Working with clients expectations sports massage, therapeutic/relaxing massage, treating specific MSK issues or holistic full body treatment
• Giving home care advice (after-session care, stretches, exercises) and creating treatment plans for follow up sessions
• Liaising with other practitioners where appropriate (physio, trainers)
• SOAP notes for sessions (reflecting requirements for health professionals)

What you’ll bring:
• * Minimum of level 4 or level 5 qualification in Sports Massage*
• Registration with SMA, CNHC, ISRM, FHT or another professional body
• Professional liability insurance
• Confidence in treating common MSK conditions
• Experience and/or interest in treating patients in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in professional communication with clients/colleagues
• Genuine passion and interest in pursuing a career in massage therapy
• Open to being mentored/developed as a professional Massage Therapist
• Prenatal massage, scar therapy, assisted stretch, MET/PNF, myofascial release, cupping and dry needling qualifications are a bonus
